Miss Piggy on the BAFTA Red Carpet

It’s been a busy few weeks at M&C Saatchi which culminated in the Orange British Academy Film Awards last weekend. A personal highlight for me was working with the one and only Miss Piggy who was our red carpet presenter for the evening!

Piggy’s interviews include Jon Hamm, Gary Oldman, Daniel Radcliffe, Michael Fassbender, Chris O’Dowd, Jessica Chastain, Gillian Anderson, Tom Hiddleston, Octavia Spencer, Johan Hill, Viola Davis and the Orange Wednesdays Rising Star Award winner Adam Deacon.

The BAFTA Orange Wednesdays Rising Star Award Launch

Eddie Redmayne, Adam Deacon and Tom Hiddleston at the Orange Wednesdays Rising Star launch at BAFTA HQ in London (11th Jan 2012)

I am currently working on this year’s Orange BAFTAs and the Orange Wednesday Rising Star Award – the only BAFTA to be voted for by the general public. The final five nominees are Adam Deacon, Chris Hemsworth, Chris O’Dowd, Eddie Redmayne and Tom Hiddleston. To vote go to http://bafta.orange.co.uk/rising-star-award/

Johnny English Reborn

I recently completed the digital press campaign for the UK release of Johnny English Reborn (for Way to Blue/Universal Pictures). The campaign included setting up high-profile video exclusives, organising promotional partnerships, distributing creative content and securing talent interviews.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 – World Premiere

I wanted to share some snaps from the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 World Premiere which took place in London’s Trafalgar Square on 7th July. The cast of the film were out in force to walk ‘the longest red carpet in history’ and despite rain earlier in the day it didn’t dampened the spirits of the 20,000 fans – every time a cast member stepped out onto the carpet they exploded with excitement! Thanks to the DDA PR team for letting me join the team for the day. It was a suitably epic (and emotional) finale to the Harry Potter franchise.

HP7 Part 2

It’s now only a month until the release of the final instalment of the Harry Potter franchise and for the visual effects team at Double Negative their work on the film is now complete. It’s been fascinating working with them over the last few months and although I can’t reveal any details at this stage the banners that Warner Bros have just released showcase some of the great action sequences to look out for.
